Boat Launch Service
Our Marina in Littlehampton, West Sussex provides a boat launch service. This boat launch service has been set up to be able to launch and recover up to 8m in length ( depending on the weight of the boat).
Our boat launch service operates Monday – Sunday during office opening hours (8am – 5pm).
The cost of our boat launch service is outlined below.
1 x launch or recovery (for berth holders) = £18.00 on a weekday
1 x launch or recovery (for berth holders) = £22.00 on either a weekend or bank holiday
Any boat launches taking place at the Marina will be carried out on our slipway by a Marina operator using one of our tractors.
Please note that it is recommended that you check the tide times before requesting a launch and/or recovery at the Marina as the Marina is tidal. We usually do not operate our boat launch service two hours either side of low tide.
If you would like to speak to the office to get an opinion as to the best time to launch on any particular day then one of our team will be pleased to speak to you.
Whilst the Marina does not offer a boat launch service to non berth holders on a casual/ad hoc basis, an Annual Launch and Recovery Licence can be applied for which will enable our team to launch/recover your boat throughout the course of the season. Boat Pre-launch Check & Marine Engine Service
Whether your boat has been out of action for the winter or you’re simply being cautious, Vantage Marine’s boat pre-launch check & marine engine services have you and your craft covered. Based here at Littlehampton Marina, Vantage Marine offers a complete range of boat pre-launch inspection services and full-service marine engine maintenance for large and small vessels alike.
Prior to launching your boat, they can organise a detailed interior and exterior inspection of its state of repair and operational efficiency. If repairs or maintenance are required, Vantage Marine will advise as such before carrying out any further work.
From hull integrity to fuel systems to electronics to safety systems and first-aid gear, they’ll help ensure your boat is in adequate condition to launch. They can carry out our boat pre-launch check & marine engine services before your arrival, or in your presence if preferred.
