Boat Lift Service with Operator
At the Marina one of the services most frequently utilised by both Marina berth holders and visitors, is our boat lift service with operator.
Our boat lift service involves a Marina operator (usually a member of our yard team) accompanied by a second Marina operator lifting a boat out of the water using our industrial hoist.
Once the boat is out of the water and on the hoist, the boat can either be put back straight into the water once it has had a service (usually a hull steam clean and scrub) or it can be taken straight over to the dockyard and put on chocks in preparation for it to be worked on.
A boat lift service is most frequently requested by boat owners just before the heavy winter months set in or at any point throughout the year when a boat has been booked in for a service with a marine engineer.
If you would like to book in a boat lift, you will need to call the Marina office to make arrangements.
Please note that if you are not a berth holder of ours and would like to book a boat service, you will need to provide insurance.
Lift Out & Hull Cleaning Service
Our Marina in West Sussex has become a go to destination for local boat owners who are looking to avail themselves of a boat lift out and/or our on-site hull cleaning service.
Our boat lift out and hull cleaning service has grown in popularity in recent times. This is largely due to boat owners recognising more and more the importance of bringing their boat ashore and getting the hull cleaned. A well looked after boat tends to hold its value better over time.
Our hull cleaning service will, with the help of a strong power washer, remove any unwanted suds that may, if left, lead to corrosion.
The length of time and cost of our hull cleaning service will vary depending on the length of your boat.

Lift Out & Trailer or Cradle Loading
Our Con-o-lift trailer (industrial hoist) allows us to lift and manoeuvre boats up to 12 tonnes in weight and approximately 45 ft in length. This lifting trailer is used predominantly to take boats in and out of the water and then store on land.
For new and departing Marina customers, when used in conjunction with local operators of Hiab’s and/or cranes, we can assist you in moving your boat on to or from transport. Our team are happy to make recommendations and do the research for you depending on your needs.
Should you need to move your boat from our dry storage area to one of our on-site marine engineers, then we can offer you the following:
Re-lift or yard movement in cradle – £100.00.
Our Marina offers lift out and trailer services Monday – Friday during office opening hours (8am – 5pm). Please note that while we can provide ad-hoc lifting services, we do advise that you book in advance so that we can ensure that we have the manpower and expertise available at the requested time.
