We were looking for a base on the south coast to run a campaign to win the Cowes Torquay powerboat race. We were lucky enough to find Littlehampton Marina, owned and run by the Finnamore family. I can’t speak highly enough about their service and support from the management and all the yard staff. A jewel of a location with a can do attitude.

I gave up launching from the beach 20 years ago and settled on Littlehampton Marina as a base for my fishing. I have never regretted that decision. The marina is just a mile upstream from the river entrance which is long enough to give assurance that the engine is running well before going out to sea. Wrecks and fishing abound…..

I have been mooring my motor cruiser at Littlehampton Marina  for over five years and would recommend boat owners seriously consider this as a base for their craft. The site is well managed, secure and the team are friendly and always happy to help with any issues I may have. Launching, recovery and boat cleaning are all carried out with considerable care which is something that I am always concerned about.

Having been a customer of Littlehampton Marina for two years now, I can honestly say it’s been the best experience. We were completely new to boating when we joined and the staff have always been extremely helpful and always willing to provide advice. They’re very quick to launch and recover and always patient with those that are less experienced than others 🙂 Cannot fault them and hope to remain a customer for many years to come.

I have kept my boat moored in the marina for 20 years. It is a family run business which is reflected in the character it portrays and the way it services and supports it customers. The office and marina teams are always very accommodating when organising lift outs, re-launches and fitting in with outside contractors working on customers boats.  The facilities are always well maintained.  The 24/7 security arrangements seem to work well as my boat has been fully safe whether on the pontoon or in the compound over winter.
Subject to tide times, access from the marina to the sea is convenient being only a short distance up the River Arun and the fishing is good.   For me it is the ideal place to keep my boat on this stretch of the south coast.
