Owning a boat is a labour of love – one that’s not without its chores. So to help with one of the most important annual tasks of all, we’ve put together a brief boat winterising checklist.
Tackle the following before the worst of the weather sets in and you’ll be good to go come spring:
- Give the whole thing a good clean, being sure to remove residual salt, growth and build-ups inside and out.
- Flush your motor of any salt water as usual, changing the filters and the oil if necessary.
