Littlehampton Marina in West Sussex has a boat fuel station on its outermost pontoon. This pontoon is referred to by the team at the Marina as the ‘fuel pontoon’.
The boat fuel station provides both unleaded and diesel fuel and can be accessed by both Littlehampton Marina berth holders and visitors alike.
As with all of the services available at the Marina, the boat fuel station is open during office opening hours (8am – 4.45pm, Monday – Sunday). During the months of June – August inclusive, the boat fuel station is open a little longer (it is open until 5.45pm). The overriding benefit to the boat fuel station having longer operating hours during these months is that it enables boat owners to spend more time out at sea (thus making the most of the Summer months) whilst still having the opportunity to fuel up before putting their boat back on their mooring.
The protocol for requesting either unleaded or diesel fuel at this particular West Sussex Boat Fuel Station is to either press the buzzer at the fuel station itself (this alerts the Marina reception) or to call the Marina office (01903 713553) to alert them to both your presence and your request.
